What people are saying...

Despite a generation of people becoming caregivers to loved ones living with dementia and the Alzheimer's Assoc staggering 400 million dollars in revenue a year, we're all out here on our own.

Memory care is insanely expensive, woefully untrained, and understaffed. There's an "oh well, that's just dementia" entrenchment in our society.

That's where Reverend Katie and her merry band swoop in and offer help.

The support calls are priceless. We're spread out all over the country, but we find advice, humor, and sanity. Just knowing that there are people out there who struggle with all of the same things keeps me from the raggedy edge. We often have different resources and suggestions that make a huge difference for the rest of us.

You are not alone. You don't have to be alone. This is hard. And this will help.

- J.C., Care Partners House™ Member
"I cannot overstate the value of this program for supporting me through dealing with my mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis. The program handles every aspect of support that a caregiver might need from the extremely practical to the more spiritual parts of understanding my mother's new reality. I have especially benefitted from the Montessori approach that foregrounds respect and understanding for all people dealing with the situation. The knowledge I've gained has been transformative not only in relationship to my mom's diagnosis but also understanding aging and disability more generally."
- Amy, Care Partners House™ Member

"I’m not sure I can ever thank you enough Katie. You are a light in the dark.  A super co-regulator.

You have changed my caring career trajectory and in all actuality, my life."

- Georgia, professional live-in care partner of 20 years and Care Partners House™ Member

"Thank you again for your expertise and passion for the best of care for those dealing with dementia."

- Donna, family care partner

Frequently Asked Questions

In order to be on the live calls and use the community, each person needs to have their own membership. There are plenty of resources inside the membership to share with other family members, but each membership gets you one account and one spot in the live calls and community bulletin board.

Right now, Wednesdays at 2pm cst, but times can change or be added based on the needs of the membership. Calls are recorded for possible educational and promotional use later, but are not posted as replays in the membership.

Yes! The Montessori approach works for all stages of dementia, and it actually fills a gap in dementia care of supporting early stage dementia and maintaining independence, that then makes the later stages even easier.

The registration for each coaching call is in your calendar inside the membership. When you register, a Zoom link will be emailed to you. All you need is a Zoom account!

There are a few base courses in the membership that you can go through at your own pace, such as the Dementia Care 101 and Understanding Behaviors Courses. Then there are other courses and resources that will grow over time each month. The Care for the Care Partners course will be tailored with lessons that support the needs of the membership as I get to know you all and have additional  modules. The Activities Library will be added to every month with more and more done-for-you roles and activities recipes, and of course the Resources Library will continue to grow with more ebooks and other supportive resources for you.

This is a recurring monthly membership of $39, auto-billed monthly. You can cancel at any time before the next month's billing cycle. We do NOT do refunds on membership renewals, so please remember to cancel your membership BEFORE your next billing cycle by logging into your membership and cancelling your membership.
